The Razer Naga Hex V2 is tailor-made for today’s MOBA gamers. It has a 7-button mechanical thumb wheel optimized for MOBA gaming and features up to 14 pre-configured MOBA profiles for maximum in-game efficiency. The latest True 16,000 DPI 5G laser sensor provides you with unsurpassable accuracy, so you'll have an even greater edge over your competition. Razer Chroma lighting with 16.8 Million customizable color options allows you to create a beautiful, personalized look that matches your style.

The ergonomic design provides optimum comfort for hours of gaming. 7 Button Mechanical Thumb WheelCreated specifically for MOBA gamers, the Razer Naga Hex V2 comes with a 7 button mechanical thumb wheel, positioned in a way that ensures you never misclick. The thumb wheel was designed to position buttons equidistant from the thumb, all of which are programmable, giving quick access to multiple commands. At the center of the thumb wheel is a rubberized thumb grip, which provides a solid grip on the mouse, which is essential for the fast twitch movements needed in MOBA games.

Pros:I absolutely love the side button design.I play MMOs, FPS, and MOBA and find this layout to be perfect for me.And. That's the only good thing about this mouse.Cons:-Mouse feels cheaply made. Very flimsy plastic, particularly the left and right click buttons (if you can call them buttons, they are one piece as part of the entire top of the mouse. They are actually flaps that feel like they can break under pressure or use (more on this later).-Synapse I hate the fact you need to have an account and internet to make use of all the features for this mouse.- Mouse randomly freezes for 5-10 seconds. This forces you to unplug it and plug it back in.

Horrible for PvP.-This is my second Naga Hex. The first one broke after a year of use. After pressing one of the side buttons it became stuck and wouldn't come back out.

I think it was the number 5 button. My second Hex (the one I am using today) broke about 10 minutes ago. The left button (if you can call it a button) broke off at the base.

I have a picture, would love to upload.Other Thoughts:I have used a ton of Razer products over the past 10-11 years and just about everything I have used has felt cheaply made and broken down on me. In fact only one product currently still works and it's only because I never use it.I don't think I will ever purchase another product made by this company. You can put pretty colors and lights on your product but it doesn't mean anything when you use cheap parts and have buggy software. You can't polish poop. Pros:Feels goodAccurateNice software packageCons:The mouse quits working on me once every couple of weeks. No buttons, no pointer. I have to unplug it to get it to respond.Terrible tech support if you ever need it.Other Thoughts:This mouse is HUGE.

I like a big mouse but I didn't know they were made this big. It's ok I guess. I'm used to it now.The side buttons were a big selling point for me, but I never use them ever. Only like 2-3 of them are in a position where I can hit them without interrupting my flow anyways. Think about that. Pros:Got this mouse (from Razer directly no knock on NewEgg) last October.

It worked great. Yes you do need the synapse software to change the colors and add macros, etc. Changing the side buttons from their default of 1-7 to what I wanted was easy.

Can adjust the speed of the mouse for what you are doing. Changed the color to what I wanted. I liked this mouse.

Made gaming easier.Cons:Usually I can get a few years out of a mouse. This time less then a year. The mouse just stops working. Need to unplug from the PC then plug it back in to have a mouse pointer again.

Looked for updates nothing. Was wondering if the synapse updates caused some issue with the mouse.Other Thoughts:I have been using Razer mice for years now.

Razer Blackwidow Chroma V2 Profiles Synapse 3

I like them but the older mice worked for like 5-6 years. The newer ones work for much less time for me. Thinking of getting a different brand. Not like I am dropping them which I did with the older ones.

They just sit there and get used. Pros:So much more comfortable than the original hex. I love the amount of buttons the hex's have not to many not to little. They really nailed it now with the form. The texture and grip is great where the original felt a little small and was too smooth and made your hand sweat. They even improved the thumb button layout giving you more room to help with miss clicks.Over all a great comfortable mouse.

I hope it lasts a little longer than the v1's. I blow through them in a year or two before I destroy the left mouse button. This will be my 3rd hex 2 version 1's and now a v2. That's over a 5-6 year period though.Cons:None that I can see.

Maybe the longevity of the buttons but I am a heavy gamer.Other Thoughts:Don't know what that other guy was talking about all buttons except the left click can have macros. I took my 4 warframe macros from the previous hex and assigned them to this mouse no problem. Pros:14 total buttons plus scroll wheel up and down.I play a lot of ARMA3 and there is a lot of complex movement and vehicle controls you need buttons for that.the razor synapse gives you lots of customization options.

The guy who talked about it throwing your aim way off if you lift off needs to instal synapse do surface calibration and setup the proper liftoff range. Basically keeping it really low if you play low sensitive in FPS and lift and drag your mouse a lot.the colors are pretty.braided cloth cord is durable and about 3x longer than you will ever need.left and right buttons very responsive and tactile but not annoyingly clickythe satin/matte finish on the mouse is comfortable just right balance between squeaky slick and to abrasive and sweat/dirt absorbing.Cons:it is a tad small for my giant hands. Wish they would take a page from glock's playbook and include some additional back straps to customize the palm swell.it has a cord which is a double edge sword.sometimes it desyncs from synapse so you have to unplug it and replug and calibrate it again.the little rubber pad in the center of the buttons feels soaking wet if you get even a little bit of oil from your skin on it.

Which they just went with the matte plastic rest of the mouse has. Needs to be cleaned frequently if you have sweating hands.Other Thoughts:I bought my first hex v2 to replace a naga MMO which died about 1 month after its warranty through razer.

I was not super impressed that razer wouldn't honor the warranty or even offer some kind of discount. So I bought a refurbed one off another site for cheap and loved it. While waiting for it to come I had to go back to my logitech wireless performance MX and it was torture. That was a good mouse back in the day but lacks the precision and buttons of the naga. I got 2nd one for my GF on blackfriday sale 50% off.My final tip would be to pair this with a Golithus control matt and a razer mouse bungee, it makes it feel like a wireless mouse and if you keep your pad clean you get a real nice balance between speed and precision. Pros:- This mouse has 7 programmable (confirmed programmable) buttons. You can bind both keys and macros alike to any of they buttons, and create multiple profiles, so long as you have the Razer Synapse v2 app.

The wheel design puts this mouse above the Naga MMO design as it is easy for the brain and fingers to know which position is which.- Comfortable, and I mean this mouse is the most comfortable mouse I've ever used. The thumb grip at the center of the wheel, and the design shape for the fingers makes this mouse feel like a glove on your hands.- It's part of the Razer CHROMA line, and you can sync your LED profile with other Razer CHROMA products you may own.- It's sturdy and has a nice long braided cable that uses a gold USB end versus standard USB cables.Cons:- Some users are stating they have issues with the mouse randomly disconnecting on them. I have yet to have this issue, but I can say that some who have had this issue resolved it by making sure their Root device does not turn off USB devices to save on power.Other Thoughts:There's a couple of things to know when buying this mouse:- It's a hefty mouse and the images don't do it that justice.

It looks like a normal sized mouse, but once you feel it in your hands, you'll know instantly what I mean. Those who have smaller hands beware.- As with any other Razer CHROMA or Programmable product, you need to download the Razer Synapse v2 app to get the full functionality and customization. If you do not get the app, your mouse will be stuck in the mode where the CHROMA just cycles through colors and the programmable buttons will map to keyboard keys 1 through 7.Currently , do not look at Newegg's reviews to judge this mouse. For whatever reason, there is a lack of reviews, and enough negative reviews to give it a score that I feel is way too low and cause viewers to underestimate this mouse.

Do your research and look at other sites' reviews as well to get an idea if this is the mouse for you. It definitely is for me! The following guidelines apply to all product categories unless otherwise indicated within specific categories.
