Sins Of A Solar Empire Rebellion Sync Error

Posted on

I thought this was a fixed issue, but apparently not.My friend and I get sync errors every time we try to play and it is incredibly annoying and defeats the purpose of an RTS. We have both validated files, have clean installs, no mods, all those obvious fixes. Yet on a normal attempt at playing we get a sync error. This is rediculous and I'd just like to play the game. I'll for ward ports, or whatever needs to be done to fix this stupid error that should have been long since patched (I see posts going back to 2008 SoaSE).Any and all help is highly appreciated. I thought it was fixed issue as well. Haven't seen a case in a very long time. I have a few questions before digging too deep.1.

If you're playing the Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion beta and have a Creative X-Fi sound card (running Windows 7 or Vista) and have noticed the lackluster sound, keep reading. Hardware accelerated audio is just a few clicks away. First you will need to download Creative ALchemy. The game does not restrict the mouse cursor, meaning that on multi-monitor configurations instead of moving the camera, the mouse will go onto the other screen, effectively crippling the ability to effectively move the camera in that direction.

What version are you both running? (Bottom right text when you first load game)2. Are you playing on LAN or ICO?3. How are you detecting there is a sync bug?4. Are you loading from a save game?5. Are either of your using cheats?

Something else?6. Did either of you apply LAA to your exe?7. Do you know of a set of steps to recreate the sync error consistently?8. Are either of you using the dev exe? Playing ICO3. There is red text saying 'Sync error detected between x and y at tick:#####' (replace x,y with names and #### with a number)4. We have started a new game every time as we try to fix the issue.5. Both of us have no mods and verified our game files.6. Considering I don't know how to apply LAA to my exe, I guess not?

We have whatever is default.7. Each time we simply start a new game and within a minute or two the sync error appears and while we can still do things like give resources, the units and planets are all out of sync. Eventually an ai takes the place in both of our game instances for the other player, so we cannot load a save since the file is different to each of us due to the desync and ai control.8.

We have not tried using dev exe yet.

Every trainer out there will be picked up by some antivirus products as a trojan or virus. Trainers are detected falsely as viruses due to how they are compressed and encrypted. The reason for them being encrypted is to prevent other trainer release groups from stealing another group's trainer and claiming it as their own. As a result most antivirus applications will then flag the trainer as a virus because it's structure and signature is similar. They also get flagged as viruses due to the fact that trainers modify the cached memory of a game which is also similar to how some viruses function.

I have been using AntiFuns trainers as long as they have been around and my computer runs fine, no viruses here. Just don't presume that they are viruses because of your antivirus software. There are thousands of us using his trainers if there really were viruses trust me we would know right away. As I said it just looks like one to antivirus programs because it injects codes into other programs, like a virus would do to self replicate and ruin your pc. Except here it is injecting not viral code but code to create a certain action in the game like god more or infinite resources. Just shouting it is a virus without understanding the true workings of it only goes to blemish the name of MrAntiFun when in fact nothing is wrong and it leads to the spread of untrue rumors.Think about AntiFun's position here.

Imagine you were at school or work, you don't really want someone to go around and scream that you shit yourself do you? You didn't do it but people will still look at you funny for a long time. That is the best analogy I can think of right now. I am too tired for thinking right now.
