So a few months ago, my headset, a logitech G933, stopped puttin gout surround sound. I only had the front left and front right channels.

Finishing in the lower half of the group, the G933 Artemis Spectrum by Logitech is far from being one of our preferred headsets. This wireless product is decently comfortable and quite convenient, but it falls flat in our other tests, with both sound and microphone quality that are lacking.

Logitech surround sound not working

If i go to the audio control panel and try to test the speakers, it will go through the motions as if testing all 7.1 channels, but only two produce sound. The rest show as iff its testing the audio and nothing plays.

Same when i test it in the logitech software. If i go into the speaker properties in the control panel, there is strangely no option to enable surround sound.anyways, i went through logitech support, and they said it was a hardware issue, and sent me a new headset. Only, it isnt, the new headset behaves exactly the same way. I tried uninstalling an dreinstallin gmy mobo's audio drivers, the logitech software and nothing works.

Any idea what's happening? I basically cant really play any games like this or watch movies since the dialogue is almost ALWAYS mapped to the front center channel.as you can see, the computer recognizes it as a 7.1 audio system, but again, only the L and R channels actually produce sound.Any help here?I have a Gigabyte Z170x UD5 mobo and i just installed the latest audio drivers.
